in my second semester, I chose to design a laptop.

Not really…

I wanted to show how patina can behave in TEch PRoducts. The result was A Modular Laptop who was intended to last long and engraves the users Attributes over time on to his casing
This was a conceptual work developed under the guidance of Professor Leif Huff.

DESIGN

Tech products are dynamic; their hardware is constantly evolving. To ensure longevity, devices need to be adaptable and modular. This idea was a key consideration in the design process.

I wanted to Implicate that the Laptop is Modular so i reflected the main components on the casing.

I took Aging as a method to create Groups of Modular Units which can be REplaced.
The REsult were BAtterie, Circuit Board, casing and Storage. each of those units age diferently.
